Coffee and a Conversation
As Told Over Brunch is a home for intelligent discourse from the twenty-something perspective - so the stuff you gossip about over mimosas on Sunday morning or over takeout on your friend's couch when happy hour ends too early. We love chatting about our lives, whether it be the relationships we’re building (or destroying), lessons we've learned at work, struggles at school, growing pains we've felt, or even the food we’re talking over.
As a native of Virginia Beach, I started to hear about Citrus Breakfast & Lunch, or just Citrus, a couple of years ago. It became an even bigger deal when they opened a second location in VB. On a trip home, my friends and I tried to get a table there. The hostess promptly informed us that the wait for the table was 45 minutes to an hour.
Me: “I think we’ll go somewhere else.”
Ain’t no brunch worth that wait.
Read MoreA few weeks ago, As Told Over Brunch's one-year birthday passed us by quietly. We didn't make much fanfare because 1.) we sorta forgot in the holiday chaos and then it was a day too late (oops) and 2.) we've been planning a big event since September and wanted its announcement to be our celebration.
Either way, you can still send us birthday cards with Starbucks or gift cards if you want to help us celebrate our baby blog's birthday.
Today, instead of dazzling you with my comedy routine (and then no one laughs because I'm not a comedian), I've decided to share with you all some pictures of fall in the Fan. Autumn, at least in my mind, has reached its pique and is on the decline as winter closes in. But today is fall's last hurrah, so we should reflect on (and be thankful for!) its beauty.
